We do not collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, bank details, or government IDs.

When you use the Platform, we may automatically collect:
- IP address
- Browser type
- Device information
- Pages viewed
- Basic usage analytics
This helps us maintain security and improve the Platform.
1.3 No Third-Party Data Sources
TableStaff.com does not import job listings, user data, or analytics from third-party job boards, aggregators, or external data providers.
1.4 Optional Demographic Information (Race/Ethnicity)
As part of the Candidate profile, users may choose to provide optional demographic information such as race or ethnicity. This information is entirely voluntary and is not required to use the Platform. TableStaff.com does not use demographic information for hiring decisions, matching algorithms, or automated decision-making. This information is shared with Employers only if the Candidate chooses to include it in their profile or job applications. Demographic data is treated as sensitive information and is stored securely.
TableStaff.com does not request, require, or encourage Employers to make hiring decisions based on demographic information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your account
- Allow Employers to post jobs
- Allow Candidates to apply for jobs
- Improve Platform performance
- Prevent fraud and unauthorized activity
- Communicate with you about your account or Platform updates
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
3. How We Share Information
3.1 With Employers or Candidates
Information is shared only when you choose to interact:
- Candidates share profile/resume information when applying to a job
- Employers share job posting information publicly
We do not share your private account details with other users.
3.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and users' safety.
3.3 No Third-Party Marketing or Data Sharing
We do not share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing companies.
4. Cookies and Tracking
We may use basic cookies to:
- Keep you logged in
- Improve site functionality
- Analyze general usage
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
5. Data Security

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated policy.
11. SMS Communications (Job Alerts)
If you are a job seeker and choose to receive SMS alerts, TableStaff may send low-volume, transactional text messages about new cover-shift job listings that match your subscribed categories and job-type preferences. We do not send promotional marketing texts through this program.
How to opt in: In your TableStaff profile, verify your mobile number, enable SMS cover-shift alerts, subscribe to job categories, and reply YES to our one-time confirmation text. You can opt out anytime by replying STOP, replying NO to the confirmation text, or turning off SMS alerts in your profile settings.
Message frequency: Varies; messages are sent only when a matching cover-shift job is posted. Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help.
SMS delivery is provided through Twilio. We use your phone number only to send alerts you requested and to process opt-out/opt-in replies. We do not sell your phone number.
